Countdown to Halloween
Thursday, October 1, 2009 at 12:00AM Autumn, or Fall, is my favorite time of year, and Halloween is my favorite holiday. When the wind turns, and the final harvests come in full of pumpkins, I light up from my usual summer heat laden apathy. Some cool folks over at Countdown to Halloween have been posting a sort of virtual advent calendar for Halloween, and others have taken up the Jack-o-Lantern and carried the idea.
I'm a bit late on this, but I'm going to post something Halloween related every day this month.
So throw another log on the fire, lock the doors, and try to ignore the clawing at the windows.

I was just talking to Bob Peitzman (who does a fantastic Halloween House every year) about ideas for his haunted house. I was suggesting Creature from the Black Lagoon, and the more I think about that, the more I think it's a great idea. Maybe I'll do that next year if I get some time...
That would be awesome. Would you make a lagoon in your yard?
